There were obviously others like me, and more coming online daily. Interested in the web and the potential for making money. They would need to learn the skills too. With the gifts of writing and teaching, plus a keen interest in the Internet, it seemed logical to make that my niche
And so NervousNewbies.com was born. Built as a guide for beginners in search of income from the Internet. It was based on my own learning curve and a sense of being a stranger in a foreign land. The 5Ns Newsletter is a supplement to the website and can be your guide to making extra cash from your home, using the Internet.
All that you've just read applies to you, even though you've been reading about me and how the website and Newsletter came into being. What do I mean? Well, look at your own situation. What frustrates you? What interests you? What do you know that could be of benefit to others?
It's not nuclear physics and you don't necessarily need to own or build a website or write a Newsletter. At least, not right away. You might prefer to look for an existing website, newsletter or business that fits in with your own views and ally yourself to those resources.
On the other hand, if you can hold a conversation about a particular subject, then you can write something about that subject. Doesn't have to be a literary masterpiece. Relevant information is the key. As long as it's interesting for the group to which you direct it.
NervousNewbies.com can help You there
Maybe you're not a totally-green Newbie. That's fine. You might also have the required skills. But, until a person is making some regular income from online activity, in my book they're still a Newbie. It comes, but it takes time. OK - feeling better?
Let's assume The "5Ns" Newsletter and NervousNewbies.com do fit in with your views. Also assume you joined the $38 project. Let's face it - who wouldn't? The worst that could happen would be some time spent promoting. Your $38 is guaranteed by the company who also provide marketing materials and an automated system - and, if you follow the plan, you also have guaranteed support from NervousNewbies.com
Doesn't it make sense to ally yourself to those resources, especially if you don't have a website or newsletter, but you do have something of interest to offer? And that's where the will to communicate fits in! More on that subject shortly.
If you have views or information on a particular subject, then you can write about that subject and send it in for possible inclusion in a future Newsletter. You will get the credit and if you are a full member in our $38 business project - and following the plan - then your link will be included. Extra exposure and free advertising for you.
The 5Ns Newsletter is offered as a Beginners Guide to making extra cash from home on the Internet. The 5Ns Newsletter is a supplement to NervousNewbies.com, promoting Easy and Genuine work from home Internet income opportunities.
The 'Net is like a minefield for the uninitiated. Someone had to stand up and be honest.
It's a sad sign when the US post office displays notices on their bulletin boards warning against "make money online" type of ads, with the government opinion being "it never happens". The overall notice was about types of fraud and how to avoid becoming a victim. Good of them to publish it but unfair to be so dogmatic.
People are making money online. Many of them frequently; many are making quite a lot. Unfortunately, many also are losing. Mostly due to ignorance or being suckered by a load of clever hype.
Some lose money as a result of their own greed. It's fair to warn people, but warn them to be very choosy, take their time and do some research.
Now you know why Nauseous is part of the original name. Maybe you already felt that way yourself in your Net Novice days of trying to eek a living from the 'Net, or even some smaller amount to supplement your income.
Read what's offered on the main NervousNewbies website and within The 5Ns Newsletter and you'll avoid the sickly feeling you'd otherwise get from graduating to a Masters degree in stupidity.
Not that you're stupid. No-one's saying that. Making mistakes or poor decisions should not be called stupid. It's just ignorance; lack of knowledge. But even so, stupid is how you feel when you foul up, isn't it? That's how I used to feel.
And so NervousNewbies.com was created to save others from making some of those mistakes and poor decisions. Providing they follow the advice offered.
Who do You Listen to?
Good question... but impossible to answer without knowing exactly what you want to know or want to achieve. Your arrival here makes it fair to assume you want information, advice or guidance on creating a profitable income online. This is a massive subject, as you may have begun to realize.
The early days were frustrating. No shortage of "gurus" doing a lot of talking, but very few were communicating! Massive difference, and something to think about.
Today it’s even worse, as some 70,000 new Internet marketers are coming online every year and the number of “know it alls” who are anxious to take their money have increased accordingly. It’s very hard to know who to trust.
If anyone is to be expected to help you reach your goals, you must communicate. If that's a weak area, sorry, but you must learn communication skills. Sadly, that's where so many so-called “gurus” fall short.
You will have hundreds of "contacts" from the "know it alls", but their emails are geared to getting you to spend your money, buy their book or join their program. Real questions are not answered, or are glossed over. That's where lots of would-be online businessmen and women show their true colours!
The goal in creating this newsletter and website was to make it a source of real information and help for you, so feel free to send me your questions and I’ll do my best to answer them or direct you to where you can find the answer.
We do that by offering an HONEST opinion about a small number of carefully selected online businesses which have proven to be genuine. We’ve checked them out, tried them, and taken the risk out of the selection for you.
THE LAST THING ANY ENTREPRENEUR NEEDS IS A SCAM, but unfortunately the Net is full of them. Even those businesses or programs that seem well meaning, can have design flaws which eventually doom the business and/or only pay out to the big guys on the top levels.
The selection process for the program opportunities chosen for you was based on criteria such as: initial cost, pay scale, ease of operation and support, as these are main considerations for you.
Automation and whether or not there were ongoing costs were also considered, as was the level of upselling or cross-promotion if there was any.
Needless to say, but product and length of time the business has been in existence were important selection considerations.
Despite their claims of giving you the key to unlimited wealth on the 'Net, some people, even some of the Big Names, will throw everything under the sun at you hoping something will stick and cause you to part with your money.
One thing needs to be made clear. NervousNewbies.com was not created in an attempt to achieve some sort of "guru" status or reputation. The site is here, and The 5Ns Newsletter is here, to offer knowledge gained from experience and provide support for simple ways to earn income by working from home on the Internet.
A general response to the question of who to listen to might be to seek out a successful or well-known person in your field of interest. But be careful. Well-known doesn't always equate with integrity or well-respected. Nor does it guarantee that they even care.
My first encounter with a well-known, successful person set me back a considerable amount of money. More than I felt comfortable losing at such an early stage in online business.
One way of deciding whose guidance to follow - ask a trusted online friend where they get their guidance and information from. Check out the source and if you feel it's right for you, give it your attention for a while. If you still feel good and comfortable, go for it.
Subscribe for Free to a few ezines or newsletters and see what they offer. How frequent are they; are they full of Ads; is the copy good information or just an Ad in disguise; is the content what you expected; do you feel that the publisher cares for you?
All good points to consider. Set your own selection criteria and if the subsciptions aren't right for you, unsubscribe and go elsewhere.
There's nothing worse than being deceived. Like when you subscribe to a list which you understood to be a "FREE INFO" list from an experienced marketer. You joined the list on the strength of reading numerous glowing testimonials, thinking you have found someone who promises to show you the way to success.
Suddenly frequent emails from your mentor start landing in your inbox. You recognize the sender and open them with pleasure, believing them to be the info you were promised.
The first thing you see at the top is a disclaimer from your mentor stating 'This is an Ad'. What's happened is that your mentor has built a list and you're on it. With a large list they can charge a fee to send Solo Ads from anybody to their subscribers - and that's you!
If you don't want Ads, or didn't expect to receive them, then you've been deceived. To me, that qualifies as Sp@m and gets a click on the 'Unsubscribe from List' button. And I don't give a toss about the guy's reputation. It’s what he delivers that qualifies him for me.
What does 5Ns Offer?
In a word - Support. Meaning communication and the availability of the owner for subscribers who make an effort.
There are far too many people motivated by their own greed, to the detriment of an even greater number of people who have been lured into hyped-up schemes and lost money.
It doesn't have to be that way.
At the same time there are far too many people wanting everything for Free, yet thinking they can get rich for no cost and little to no effort. It's not necessarily their fault but they'd better wake up and realize their expectations are unrealistic.
NervousNewbies.com offers a solid plan to escape the greed through Co-operative and no-cost to low-cost marketing methods
Currently NervousNewbies.com is running a test on one specific business. You should have seen it or joined already. If not, you are encouraged to check it out and join. The test is to prove a point. With a proven business model and co-operation between participants, there's no need for anyone to lose anything.
Despite the low one-time cost, affordable to most people - even those on limited funds, the income can be significant. This is not a 'get rich quick' or 'money for nothing' business and those who do nothing will be rewarded accordingly and get nothing.
And Now - A Question For You
But before answering, please review the last 2 sections:- Who Do You Listen To? and What Does 5Ns Offer?
So, time for the question to be asked. Actually, it's 2 questions, but that's just my way. Based on what you've read in this edition, do you consider the content useful? If so, and I hope you do, would you consider following the opinions and aims which NervousNewbies.com expresses and is striving to achieve?
Answers on a postcard, please.
Sorry - joking, but couldn't resist. However, real communication would be great and much appreciated. And if you do feel that this Newsletter might be of benefit to someone you know... please tell them where to find it. Thanks.
